Puppy Zen – Virtual Puppy School
Real time with Mark Vette
There is a critical time in a puppy’s life called the Formative Period, where training is essential as they can learn skills and social behaviours quickly and easily. Miss it, and you could have a lifetime of problem behaviours. Make the most of it, and you will have a happy lifelong bond with your pup.
My online Puppy School is designed to teach you everything you need to know about raising and training a puppy! While traditional puppy schools are fantastic for socialisation, in my school you’ll also get the chance to learn critical tools and techniques around fear and phobia prevention, building a lifelong mentor bond and building resilience and confidence.
Learn to train your pup the right way (in a way your pup actually understands!) and set yourself up for a relaxed, enjoyable and stress-free life with your new pup.
Teenage Puppy Zen – Virtual School for Teenage Pups
Teenage puppies (5-18 months) come with their own unique challenges, driven by hormonal and developmental changes occurring as your pup matures and their focus shifts away from you to the many delightful distractions out in the big, wide, world! Each developmental stage comes with its own drivers and challenges.
- A tendency to become more stubborn and outwardly focused
- Emerging behaviour issues such as dominance, fear, separation distress, hyperactivity or poor recall
- A perfectly behaved pup at home who stops obeying commands while out and about
- A pup that seems to go backwards in their training
- A need for more exercise and stimulation
- Over-the-top reactions to certain things
These are all symptoms of emerging issues that are best resolved now. Understanding these and being shown how to build on your puppy training prevents these behaviour issues from becoming established.
This online school will guide you through the confusing teenage period, with training techniques designed to help you avoid building a lifetime of bad habits, and ensure you come through this period with a beautifully well-behaved dog who is deeply bonded to you.
This school also gives you access to all the puppy-training videos from our Puppy Zen Virtual Puppy School, so that you can make sure you’ve got all the foundational training and basics in place too! Teenage Puppy Zen is designed to take what your puppy learnt in the formative period (3-16 weeks) and consolidate and grow those learnings. You’ve done kindergarten and primary school, now we are heading to high school.
Dog Zen Virtual Dog School
If you want a dog that everyone loves to be around, this is for you.
My interactive course will take you through everything you need to know to transform your adult dog. It’s for dogs that missed the early training they should have had, dogs that have had traumatic experiences which have affected their behaviour, dogs that don’t seem to listen to a word you say, and those that have behaviour issues that need solving.
You will learn about how to effectively establish your relationship with your dog, the critical nature of ‘learning state’, how to teach the most important commands, and how to correct common behaviour problems. There’s nothing like the joy we receive from having a deep bond with a well-behaved dog!
